In this workshop, you will be able to learn about and even try your hand at jong boat racing, a beginner-friendly sport featuring miniature wooden boats. Navigate the resourceful and imaginative cultural heritage of Singapore’s Orang Pulau with Fawzi, a former resident of Lazarus Island (Pulau Sekijang Pelepah) and an avid jong racer. Play a special role in revitalising this unique cultural practice for the next generation of jong racers. Join us for a fun day out at sea, and leave with a newfound hobby!
